Meet Our Officers

Dale P. Repass, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Repass has over 30 years experience in the financial services industry. Mr. Repass has been involved in all phases of banking and trust services serving in positions as senior lender, trust department manager and President/CEO/Chairman of two banks. Mr. Repass received his undergraduate degree from Wartburg College and his law degree from Drake University.


Francis A. "Chip" Murray, President & Chief Operating Officer.
Mr. Murray has over 20 years of financial and trust experience. He has been involved in all phases of banking and trust services as a commercial lender, trust department manager, and senior retail officer. From 1990 to 1996, he managed a regional bank’s trust division and oversaw significant growth in trust assets. Mr. Murray received his undergraduate degree from Loras College and graduated from the ABA National Trust School at Northwestern University.

Paul A. Kronlage, Senior Vice President.
Mr. Kronlage has extensive experience in pension, profit sharing, and 401(k) plan design and administration. He has been working with ERISA related activities, including plan design, asset allocation and employee education/enrollment, for the past nine years. Mr. Kronlage received his undergraduate degree from the University of Northern Iowa and his M.B.A. from the University of Iowa.

John J. Gonner, Senior Vice President-Investments.
Mr. Gonner is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), specializing in the selection of individual stocks, bonds, and mutual funds for client portfolios. He has over 13 years experience in managing fiduciary assets. Prior to that he spent three years with Arthur Andersen in Chicago where he achieved the CPA designation. John earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Loras College where he served as an adjunct faculty member. Mr. Gonner has also achieved the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation and is a member of the Madison Investment Management Society.

Sharlene B. Kline, Vice President.
Ms. Kline has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and has extensive experience in the area of Individual Retirement Accounts and retail banking. Ms. Kline has managed the entire IRA function of a regional bank, including contributions, distributions, minimum required distributions, and the investment of IRA accounts. Ms. Kline has attended the Cannon Financial Institute.

Diane M. Reuter, Vice President-Trust Operations.
Ms. Reuter has over 24 years of trust operations, accounting and administrative experience. She was responsible for the administration of employee benefit accounts including overseeing the development and supervision of the employee benefits recordkeeping division for a major financial institution. Prior to that time she was the manager of the Trust Department’s operations division overseeing the recordkeeping and custodial activities for over $500 million in trust assets. Ms. Reuter is a graduate of the University of Dubuque with degrees in Accounting and Business Administration.

Kathleen Donnelly, Vice President.
Ms. Donnelly has more than 17 years of experience in personal trust administration and trust tax planning. She has worked closely with trust clients in the areas of estate planning and risk-based investing. She is very involved with all areas of tax planning and tax returns. Ms. Donnelly coordinates the tax reporting function for FCT. She is a graduate of the ABA National Trust School and Cannon Financial Institute for Personal Trust Administration.

Julie A. Ames, Vice President.  Ms. Ames has many years of experience in personal trust administration and IRAs.  Previously, she was a personal trust administrator at a major financial institution in Waterloo, Iowa, where she specialized in working with individual clients on their personal trust and retirement needs.  Ms. Ames, who also has extensive experience in retail banking, is a life-long resident of the Waterloo area and attended the University of Northern Iowa.

Theodore L. (Ted) Kron, Vice President.
Mr. Kron has more than 20 years of personal trust and investment expertise. Mr. Kron has worked effectively with clients to identify their financial goals and develop plans to reach their goals. He received his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Iowa. Mr. Kron also has broad technical knowledge in estate planning and estate administration. He has attended numerous seminars and workshops dealing with estate planning, tax planning and estate administration.
